The Kane County Fair kicks off Saturday, August 7, and continues Tuesday, August 10 through Saturday, August 14, at the North Events Center in Orderville.
Saturday’s events start with a horse show followed by a free concert by Jared Harlan to close out the night with great food and even better music.
The ever-popular two-man golf scramble will be Wednesday, August 11, at 4 p.m., at the Thunderbird golf course. The parade will be at 6:45 p.m. that evening, with the Glow Run following at 9 p.m.
Be sure to sign up for the talent show, which will be the finale to the Thursday, August 12, activities at 6:30 p.m., at the Orderville Town Park.
4H animal judging will kick off an action packed Friday, with exhibits opening at 10 a.m. There will be a National Guard climbing wall, zip line, a kid zone with face painting, balloons and an action-packed creation station throughout the day.
The kids won’t want to miss the Ping Pong Money drop at 5 p.m., with a Dutch Oven contest following at 6 p.m. Is your Dutch Oven cookin’ the best in the west? Enter it into the contest for a chance to be the grand prize winner!
A family dance and firework show at the Orderville Town Park will end the Friday, August 13 festivities.
The livestock sale will start at 10 a.m., Saturday morning, followed by the baby show at 11 a.m., which you will not want to miss!
The fair ends with the famous Lions Club Rodeo at the Carroll Arena starting at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for kids. The Kane County Fair holds a wonderful tradition of having something fun for the whole family to do.
