Tammy Lynn Cox, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tammy was born September 14, 1968, in Kanab, Utah, to Lynn and Sharon Heaton. She was raised in Kanab and graduated from Kanab High School, where she made many lifelong friends.

She married the love of her life, Brent Cox, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and hard work. Tammy's greatest joy was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time outdoors, camping, gardening, and creating lasting memories with those she loved.

Tammy was known for her kind heart, quiet strength, and willingness to help anyone in need. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and loved, and her smile could brighten any room.

She is survived by her husband, Brent Cox; her children and grandchildren; her parents, Lynn and Sharon Heaton; siblings; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and other beloved family members.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Kanab Utah Stake Center. Interment followed in the Kanab Cemetery.
