Russell Merrill Beesley died on September 16, next to his wife at their home in Kanab. Barely six weeks before, he had been healthy, the first symptoms of his metastatic Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer hit like wildfire, and only six weeks later, Russell passed.

Russell was an energetic, exceptional personality with a deep belief in his Dharma Buddhism. Throughout his career, he was a Rock ‘n Roll musician, taught at the Music Conservatory in Helsinki, Finland, ran a Health Club in Kanab and ended his career as a Wildland Fire Fighter and Park Ranger for the GSENM.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Laurel Beesley, family and countless friends.
