Marsha DiAnn Eddy passed away on October 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 20, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah, but grew up in California. Marsha loved the fact that she was born in Salt Lake City and the rest of us kids were born in California, it made her feel special.
After high school Marsha went to Beauty school, working as a beautician for several years. She served an honorable mission in England for the church where she made many lifelong friends from her time with them there. She returned home and met Charles Eddy and they were married on August 23, 1969. They were sealed in the St. George Temple on November 27, 1976. Soon after Ruth and Charles joined their family they moved to Kanab, Utah.
Marsha worked for Conne Lord in her beauty salon. She served as a primary teacher and worked in the nursery for eight years. Marsha loved the gospel and went to the temple as often as she could go. She was a special mother, friend and sister who would always reach out to help those in need. She would always buy extra toys to put in the collection boxes at Christmas time. She didn’t like anyone going without. Marsha loved her grandkids with all her heart. She loved their hugs and being around them, they brought so much joy to her life. In 1976 Marsha and Chuck returned to England, there again she made more lifelong friends.
