Frankie Mackel­prang Hawley passed away peacefully in her hometown of Kanab, Utah, on August 3, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born on Sep­tember 9, 1939, and came from a family with deep roots among the original settlers of the area.

Frankie devoted much of her life to car­ing for her home and family, taking great pride in raising her three children: Kim Alene Allred, Cyn­thia Ann Allred and Lance LaDee Allred. Her home reflected the care, order and attention to detail she brought to everything she did.

In Kanab, Frankie was part of the com­munity she loved. She spent time volun­teering with the local church and the West­ern Legends Celebra­tion and she enjoyed visiting with friends throughout the com­munity.

Like her father, Frank, Frankie was known for her honesty and independence. She spoke her mind, lived life on her own terms and left a lasting impression on those who knew her. Those close to her will espe­cially remember the delight of seeing her warm smile.

Frankie will be re­membered for her high standards, her beautiful home, her honest spirit, her un­mistakable style and the lasting mark she left on her family and community. Her life and legacy will not be forgotten.

A service to celebrate Frankie’s life will be held at a later date.
