Earl David Bernstein was born March 12, 1945 and passed away on May 15, 2026.

He and his wife Sheila lived in Kanab, Utah, from 2003 to 2012. David greatly enjoyed the morning community gatherings at Jakey Leigh’s Cafe and driving the tractor at Tom Willardson’s sod farm, Tommy’s Turf. He was always ready to lend a hand or a tool.

David built a harpsichord and donated an organ to the Symphony of the Canyons. He attended Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. He had a natural singing voice and served as cantor at United Church of Kanab’s meditative prayer services in 2010.

David lived for decades with serious health issues, but he never complained.

He was celebrated with an Honor Guard Memorial service and inurnment at Northern Nevada Veterans Cemetery.
