Come out to the Carmel Mountain Music and Arts Festival on September 11, 2010! Main activities of the event include: Live dance performances by the St. George Contemporary Dancers, live music from the blue grass sensation Cold Creek and local band The Katch.

There will also be a Rocky Mountain Oyster Feast, “Soup Town” Soup Cook-off, booths and games, a Car and Motorcycle Show and Shine, and food vendors. There will be arts and crafts, golf contests, a Farmer’s Market, and plein air painting, alongside a wet painting show and sale.

The event is free to the public and festivities kick-off at noon and last until 10 p.m. at Mount Carmel Junction on the Thunderbird Golf Course. This fun filled day will have something entertaining and memorable for everyone to enjoy!

In addition to all the great entertainment and fun, there will be a 9/11 tribute and fundraiser to honor the emergency responders of Kane County.
