Search continues for missing Zion hiker
Zion National Park Rangers, along with Washington County Sheriff’s Office, are investigating the missing person case of Holly Suzanne Courtier. The Search and Research efforts are continuing with K-9 Units from the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and Washington County and Search and Rescue crews within the Narrows and east side areas of Zion National Park.
Investigative leads have been positive from the established tip line and have continued to assist investigators.
On October 6, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Courtier was dropped off by a private shuttle bus at the Grotto parking area. Courtier’s intended travel plan is unknown. If you were hiking in the area of the Grotto Trailhead on this date and time, please contact our tip line at 888-653-0009.
On October 8, she was reported missing to the park. On October 9, Zion National Park rangers began search efforts.
Courtier is 38 years old, 5’3”, 100 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes. She may possibly be wearing: a Pistil Gray Trucker Hat, a Patagonia Black Nano Puff Jacket, a Dark Tank Top, a Danner Trail Gray Hiking Boots, and an Osprey Blue Multi-Day Pack.
