Dusty Reese wins 14-day ''Cruise thru History'' trip with Glenn Beck
ComeSailAway.com, a division of the Utah-based company, CruiseBuilder, recognized Dusty Reese of Kanab, Utah, as the winner of a listener contest conducted in cooperation with Utah’s KNRS radio at an event in Snowbird, Utah.
KNRS anchor and personality Rod Arquette presented the award, an all-expense cruise on Costa Cruise lines hosted by nationally syndicated talk show host Glenn Beck. It includes airfare from the U.S. to and from Venice, Italy, where the two-week adventure begins with ports of call in the eastern Mediterranean, including Dubrovnik, Croatia; Haifa, Israel and Athens and Corfù, Greece.
Glenn Beck dubs this trip a “Cruise Thru History” and includes several other radio and TV personalities, including Bill O’Reilly, David Barton and Rabbi Lapin.
Special events are planned onboard the Costa Luminosa cruise ship, as well as in Israel. Beck tells his listeners that the cruise is planned to “be a trip through history that describes the story of faith, freedom and human progress” in some of the places where history was made … Italy, Israel and Greece.
The Reese family operates a three-generation ranch near the mouth of Johnson Canyon north of Kanab, where they raise cattle and horses. John and Dusty have four children who also participate in the family business. John is employed full-time by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. The trip is valued at $10,000.
The funny thing is, Dusty was announced on-air as the winner on May 30, but she wasn’t near the phone because they were all out branding cattle (we hope Glenn Beck will pick up on this story on his broadcast)!
