The Kane County Fair held its annual Kane County Scholarship Pageant on Saturday, June 29, at Kanab High School. It was a magical night where many talents were displayed and the young participants had opportunities to show their grace and poise.

One of the highlights of the night was not only the crowning of the new Kane County Queen, Bethany Nording, but also watching her as she created a masterpiece painting in less than three minutes.

Hazel Harris was crowned 2019 Princess and blew the audience away singing her own beautiful rendition of “Try.”

All of the young women were spectacular. Congratulations to the new queen and princess and their courts. Thank you to the 2018 Royalty for a wonderful year. Thank you to all who attended to show their support to these amazing young women.

The new royalty will be at the opening parade and concert on Saturday, August 3, as well as other events throughout the week of the Kane County Fair.

Special thanks to Jared Harlan, Ronne Chanberlain, Josh Heaton, Jason and Kaycy Kirby for making it all possible.

A very big thank you to Jacey Heaton who has put in many hours to help these young ladies be successful.
