Valley Girl Scout Troop 501 chose to donate fleece blankets to children who come into Kane County Hospital’s emergency department.  The troop members range from second grade through sixth grade and include the communities of Mt. Carmel, Orderville and Glendale.

Troop leader Carol Chapman with co-leader Linda Black brought a few of the girls over to donate the blankets, which they worked on as a service project. These gifts will warm several young people and hopefully make their experience in the ER a little less frightening.

Members of the troop who helped make the blankets are: Emily Tait, Dakota Cracraft, Kinlie Frost, Allison Corry, Kenzee Brinkerhoff, Madalyn Tait, Naomi Welch and Kaylee Brinkerhoff.
