Navajo Lake marijuana garden
The Kane County Sheriff''s Office and the Kane County Drug Task Force have been conducting an investigation of a small marijuana garden on Cedar Mountain.
In July of 2009 it was learned that there were approximately 14 plants being grown at a cabin near Navajo Lake. Surveillance on the residence showed that the individual at the cabin moved the plants from one area of the property to another to hide from surveyors.
Mr. Kerry Robert Wilson, 53, of Henderson, Nevada, was identified as the owner of the cabin.
On August 9, Kane County Sheriff’s Deputies who held him for questioning contacted Wilson. Wilson was cooperative with authorities and admitted to growing the plants for personal use. Wilson will be charged with 14 counts of Cultivating Marijuana.
