The 4-H program continues to grow and flourish in Kane County. Various funding opportunities have allowed us to offer high quality programs (including STEM activities) for an inexpensive price and often free of charge. One of the goals we have in 2018 is to include the families and community even more in the positive development of our youth.

To this end we are excited to announce the inaugural Community STEM Night, held at the Kanab Middle School on Tuesday, January 23 from 6-8 p.m. We are excited to share with the community the successes and opportunities experienced by our youth. There will be booths and activities on topics including virtual reality, Ozo bots, Makey Makeys, Drones, circuitry, etc.

The Kane Foundation (one of many collaborators for this event) will be providing pizza and there will be door prizes, including a drone and Google cardboard virtual reality sets.

It is our intention to provide a quality family outing with an opportunity for kids to be exposed to various types and uses of technology. No registration is required, but an adult must accompany children.
