Kane Education Foundation is organizing the Fourth of July Color Run, and we invite you to join us! Color Run registration is from 6:15 to 6:45 a.m. on July 4 at 20 W. Center Street. Registration fees are $5 per person or $20 per family. Additional donations are certainly welcome! All proceeds from this event will benefit Kane County Schools.

The race starts at 7 a.m. Each participant will receive a pair of sunglasses to wear during the run and should plan to wear white. Our dedicated Board of Directors will be at each color station to add a splash of red and blue to your white T-shirt.

Kane Education Foundation will also have a booth set up at the park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. where we will sell bottled water and popsicles to raise additional funds for our schools. We hope you will stop by to meet our volunteer board members and what we are doing to assist the students and teachers in our district. We look forward to meeting former alumni, parents, students, and teachers.

Kane Education Foundation’s Chairman, Paul Altherr, states, “We are so excited and grateful to organize the Color Run on behalf of the community this year. This is going to be fun, and your registration fees go to the great cause of supporting our students and teachers!”
