No blarney – you must make plans to attend the inaugural ‘Shamrocks and Redrocks’ March 17-19, in Kanab! The new event will be similar to the wonderfully successful Red Rocktoberfest held last October, but with luck, it’ll be even bigger!

The exciting weekend activities will be sponsored by the Kane County Events and Volunteer Center, Kane County Office of Tourism, and Best Friends Animal Society, so it’s sure to be a success.

“We’re working together to make Kanab a destination,” said Kane County Office of Tourism Director Ken Gotzenberg. He praised the Shamrocks and Redrocks sponsors for their support, as well as the Kane County Volunteer Center for providing most of the manpower for these new events.

There will be a St. Patrick’s Day parade and dinner, live music, street festival, pet adoptions, beer garden, costume party, and even a 5K Green Run! You’ll pinch yourself when you hear about the fun weekend that also features outdoor adventures, including hidden treasures, hanging gardens, arches and slot canyons!
