The 2015 Kanab Writers Conference held this last weekend at the Kanab Middle School was well received.

Keynote Todd Compton drew a large crowd Friday evening with his presentation on Jacob Hamblin.

David Farland’s keynote Saturday morning provided great advice for choosing traditional versus independent publishing.

T. J. Mackay’s afternoon keynote instructed the attendees how to sell themselves to better sell their writing.

Conference attendees were able to network and make new friends. Their main complaint seemed to be that there were so many great classes among the 20 breakout sessions that it was hard to choose between them.

Thanks to the many successful and award-winning authors that presented workshops at the conference this year. Also, enormous thanks to CEBA, the Kanab Middle School, the town of Kanab, and all the volunteers who made it possible.

We look forward to next year’s Kanab Writer’s Conference and other writing events in the near future, such as the “Self-Publishing Seminar” coming up this spring. Kanab continues to nourish a healthy and vibrant writing community that we are proud to share with others.
