Kane County is on a mission to elevate customer service! Join us on March 11, 12 and 13 at the Southwest Applied Technology College to learn customer service skills from seasoned trainer Brad J. Anderson. This training is provided free of charge to businesses and their employees through a partnership between the Kane County Office of Tourism and Southwest Applied Technology College’s Custom Fit training program.

This four-hour training session is perfect for anyone involved in the Kane County business community and hospitality industry. Even the most experienced customer service veteran will walk away with new ideas to implement.

Customers post online reviews and share information by word of mouth about our local businesses. It is up to businesses and their staff to make a positive and lasting impression for continued success.

A variety of topics will be covered, including: what excellent customer service looks like, attitude and choice of words, getting visitors to extend their stay, encouraging repeat business and more.

Area business managers and employees have four sessions available to choose from when registering: Wednesday, March 11, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. or 2 p.m.-6 p.m.; Thursday, March 12, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. or 2 p.m.-6 p.m; or Friday, March 13, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis, so employees are encouraged to register early.
