Learn to gently tap with your fingers on specific points on your body related to acupuncture points. •The History of Photography - Are you old enough to remember film? Well, believe it or not, photography was even more antiquated than that! On Friday, October 3, 6:30 p.m. at the County Commission Chambers, 76 N Main, Marlene Barnes will give a talk on how photography was invented by using a number of antique original photographs in a fast-paced overview allowing a hands-on examination of daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, tintypes, and a selection of very early prints like stereo cards. You will even see a few prints made from the first cameras that held roll-film. This talk may also be helpful for people who like to collect old photographs – many tintypes masquerade as daguerreotypes for much-inflated prices.
