The Kane County Republication Convention is taking place on Friday, April 4, 2014, at 5:30 p.m., in the Kanab High School Auditorium. State, federal and county candidates seeking political office will be in attendance at the Kane County Convention, including those for Congressional District 2, Utah Attorney General, and other political races in Kane County and Utah. We will also be joined Lt. Governor Spencer Cox and State Auditor John Dougal.
“There are some extremely important political races taking place, especially at the county and federal level. This is a great opportunity for us to interact and visit with the candidates themselves about the issues,” said Kelly Stowell, Kane County GOP Chairman.
The Kane County GOP will also select two remaining State Delegate allocations. “Through the nominating process by county delegates, the two remaining state delegate openings will be selected, providing the opportunity for two more people from Kane County to join us at the state convention in Salt Lake,” said Stowell.
Registration and a meet and greet with the candidates begins at 5 p.m. It is $100 to purchase a candidate’s table. Set-up for candidate’s tables starts at 4 p.m. Checks can be made payable to the Kane County GOP, PO Box 544, Kanab, Utah, 84741. It can also be paid at the door.
