Duck Creek Days 2011 this weekend
It’s that time of year again! Duck Creek Days celebrates the 30th year of the event, making it the longest running event in Kane County.
Duck Creek Days Craft Fair and Chili Cook-Off will be held in Duck Creek Village on Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and features arts, crafts, food, kids activities and rides. There will be live entertainment each night from 6-10 p.m. featuring the Muddy Boot Band.
Each year the crowd favorite is the drawing for a chance to win a grand prize of a Polaris Trail Blazer ATV. There is also a silent auction featuring dozens of items donated by local area businesses.
The event is sponsored by the Duck Creek Village Association, a non-profit organization, with the proceeds going to assist and enhance community non-profit services and amenities.
