Friends and families from throughout the community gathered on Saturday for the annual Fredonia Easter egg hunt filled with fun, sweets and prizes.

Cathy Chell announced that after nine years of organizing the event, this would be her last.  Chell has worked hard every year to keep the traditional event one that Fredonians continually looked forward to and enjoyed.

She released the kids to their designated areas and they were off, hunting, running, gathering up eggs and having a blast.  Parents followed the little ones, reveling in their joy and snapping pictures to preserve the memories being created.

It was a wonderful way for Fredonians to kick off Easter weekend. A huge thank you to Cathy Chell and all who volunteered to make such a fantastic morning.
