The Goodtime Theater who brought you Hairless & Ms. Communication is performing their Spring show, Cool of the Day, in the Kanab City Library on April 29 and 30 at 6:30 p.m. They have an exciting lineup of skits, poetry and readings, accompanied by Jon Tapia’s amazing mixed media images and music.

Kathy Walls joins the theater this spring, and performs with Darlene Anderson in a tender mother-daughter vignette about the complexity of a life well lived.

Terry Parthemore, Lenny Domyan and Mickie Bolling-Burke star in a skit inspired by Doug Duncan’s tale about two guys and a dog getting stuck in the snow. (Guess who’s playing the dog!)

Brenda Domyan and Jo Quinby share original poems about the fragile beauty of the natural world.

Tom Carter tells a hilarious coming-of-age account of his summer job in Yellowstone (acted out by the Terry and Lenny Comedy Team).

Bobbi Chaney performs a parody on aging called “Goldie Turns 60.”

Jon Tapia brings his own version of a Coyote Story complete with dancing spirits.

Terry Parthemore channels Jack Webb (remember the TV show Dragnet?) in another one of his true-life adventures called “Graveyard Shift.”

Mickie Bolling-Burke takes us into the frightening dreams of a paranoid schizophrenic woman. (This is not a kid-friendly production.)

Music from 6:30 to 7 p.m. by the Tumbleweedz on Friday and Poverty Flat on Saturday.

It’s going to be a fun evening with some special surprises. The production is a benefit for Friends of the Library. The suggested donation is $10, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

Space is limited, so get your tickets early at the library or from the cast.
