The Cowboys hosted the Beaver Beavers and the Parowan Rams last week. They beat Beaver 71-64, however, they were hammered by Parowan, losing 91-65. They played hard against Parowan at home, but had a tough night as far as shooting goes.

Against Beaver, the Cowboys came out strong in the first quarter, leading 26-11. At the half, the Cowboys were still leading 43-33. In the third quarter, the Beavers did little. In the fourth quarter, Beaver made a run, but in the end, the Cowboys prevailed.

The team was led in scoring by John Terrel with 20 points, who also had 11 rebounds. Brandon Jenson netted 19, including four treys and dished out five assists. Conor Corry also had a double-double, adding 13 points and snagging 11 boards to the Cowboy offense. Kade Quarnberg netted 12 points, made five assists, and had four steals.

Against Parowan, it was almost the complete opposite of the Beaver game. The Cowboys failed to come onto the court fired up and at the end of the first quarter were down, 27-8. The game continued this way until the Cowboys got hot in the third quarter. The Cowboys were quickly stifled, and the rest is history.

The Cowboys were led in scoring by Conor Corry with 19 points, with sophomore Brandon Jenson close behind with 17. John Terrel added 14 points to the mix.

This week, the Cowboys travel to Cross Creek on Tuesday and Millard on Friday.
