Incumbent Mark Baron won the Arizona Primary on Tuesday, August 24 and will be the Republican candidate for Fredonia Justice of the Peace in the General Election in November.

Baron picked up 177 of the 232 votes cast (76%), while challenger Carl Cluff had 54 votes (23%) and there was one write-in vote.

In the U.S. Senate race, Sen. John McCain will be the Republican candidate once again. McCain picked up 56% of the votes to edge challenger JD Hayworth, who received 32% of the tally. McCain will face Democrat Rodney Glassman in the General Election. Glassman garnered 34% of the Dems’ vote. Cathy Eden had 26%, while John Doughtery wound up with 23% and Randy Parraz 15%.
