Jeremy Evans, the Utah Jazz #2 pick in last spring’s draft, was in Kanab last Wednesday showing area youth basketball players a few drills. Evans graduated from Western Kentucky and is excited to join the Jazz. He’s looking forward to starting camp and playing under Jerry Sloan.

Evans did some drills with the kids, played some fun games, even had a trivia question session, with the winners getting to take on Evans one-on-one. The area youth were very good with the answers, some of the questions were very hard. And no, no one beat Evans one-on-one!

He ended the two hour session signing autographs and handing out a glossy photo of himself in a Jazz uniform. Evans is on a swing thoughout southern Utah, where he is visiting over 30 towns covering 19 days.
