Fredonia woman arrested with 3-1/2 pounds of marijuana
The Fredonia Marshals Office and the Coconino County Sheriffs Office received information that individuals were growing and selling marijuana in the White Sage Flat area. On Thursday July 1, 2010, an officer from the Fredonia Marshall’s Office stopped a vehicle driven by 53 year old Linda Darlene Chunn on Forest Service Road 22, located just South of Fredonia. Chunn was in possession of three and one half pounds of marijuana.
Fredonia Marshals and Coconino County Sheriff’s deputies obtained a search warrant for Chunn’s residence and a subsequent search yielded five marijuana plants, dangerous drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
Chunn was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, production of marijuana, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm in the course of a felony.
Fredonia Marshall’s and Coconino County Sheriff’s deputies are continuing this investigation and more arrests are anticipated.
