Town of Fredonia and Fredonia Moccasin USD voters to receive ballots for special election
On Tuesday, October 13, the Coconino County Elections office will mail ballots to all registered voters in the town of Fredonia and the Fredonia Moccasin Unified School District (FMUSD) for the November 3 special election.
To vote in the upcoming election, a citizen must live within the boundaries of one (or both) jurisdictions and be registered to vote by October 5, 2009.
Voters who live within FMUSD will vote on two override questions. Voters who also live within the town limits of Fredonia will receive a ballot with an additional question regarding the authorization of bonds for water system improvements.
Voters who do not receive their ballot by Tuesday, October 20, should contact the Elections Office for information on a “replacement ballot”. They can be reached at (928) 779-6589; toll-free (800) 793-6181.
Ballots can be mailed or dropped off but they must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day at one of the following locations:
•Coconino County Elections Office (all voters), 219 E. Cherry, Flagstaff
•Fredonia Town Clerk’s Office (Fredonia and FMUSD voters), 25 N. Main, Fredonia.
•Page City Clerk’s Office (FMUSD voters only), 697 Vista Ave, Page.
