Well-known KSL 5 TV News personality Dick Nourse, together with his partner company Hexagon Interactive, have donated $1,000 specifically to help Kane County students at Dixie State College.  This was a response to DSC’s “Dollars For Scholars” campaign to raise $500,000 for scholarships by August.

“After I retired from KSL 5, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Kanab during the Western Legends celebrations in August and have also met many wonderful people in Kane County while filming projects” Nourse said.

“I have enormous love for the area and its way of life.  Together with my wife Debi and my son Dayne, I now call southern Utah ‘home.’  I hope that this will be just the beginning of what I can contribute to this community. “

Nourse’s company, Nourse-Hexagon Productions is completing post-production on a pilot for a TV show called “Dick Nourse Visits…” in which he visits with some of the interesting and extraordinary people and enterprises in Kanab and Kane County.
