All aboard! The Kanab City Library is hosting the annual Train Show on Saturday, February 9, 2019, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The Lacey family has sponsored the show the last couple of years, carrying on the tradition started by Brian Trout, who will also be attending. It’s free for the whole family to attend.

The show highlights many parts of the railroading hobby, including model railroads in HO and N scales, classic toy trains (Lionel and American Flyer), LEGO trains, and Thomas the Tank Engine toys and models. There will be a display on railroad history focusing on this year’s 150th anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad.

Operation Lifesaver will also have a booth on railroad safety. Any Boy Scouts wanting to earn the Railroading Merit Badge can complete all of the requirements at the library that day if they start early.

There will be lots to see and do, including several hands-on model railroad activities and competitions for young and old alike. Come see for yourself!
