The Kane County Office of Tourism provides grants to aid in the development of tourism related events. The purpose of the grant is to utilize funds generated by Transient Room Tax in promoting the area to increase visitation to all communities in Kane County through creating new events, expanding existing events, encouraging self-supported reoccurring activities or series of events. The Kane County Office of Tourism received 28 applications for the TRT Event Grant. The maximum amount that could be requested was $5000 per event.

If anyone has any questions about the grant process, they can contact Josie Sprecher at the Tourism Office (435) 644-5033 or by email jsprecher@kane.utah.gov.
