The Valley High School volleyball team sponsored an auction and sale to honor Shana Sawyer, whose spirit of love and giving is still very strong. As a school aide, she gave everything she had to assisting students in their quest for education. Shana made a beautiful quilt, the highlight of the auction, which was purchased by Melissa Griffiths for $2100. Such a treasure! The quilt was pieced and hand appliquéd, with hours of work and time spent.

The highest bidders at the fundraiser include Kelly Lamb, Melanie Spencer, Blake Harris, Joey Harris, Sherri Cox Harmony Heaton, Rob Barrick and Melissa Griffiths.
