Kanab will host nine high school baseball teams this weekend in the annual kickoff to the season, the Chuckwagon Classic.

The tournament gets underway on Friday, with five games at the high school field and five games at the middle school field. The first two games are at 10 a.m. and the final two are slated for 6 p.m., with games going all day.

Then on Saturday, 10 more games are on tap, with the first pitch coming at 9 a.m., again on both diamonds. The final games on Saturday will begin at 5 p.m.

The high school communications class will live stream three games each, courtesy of South Central Communications. Friday’s games to be broadcast are at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday’s telecasts will be at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Go Cowboys!
