Cowboys partner with Vivint Inc. to help the needy in Puerto Rico
Did you know around 70 percent of Puerto Rico is still without power, and around 30 percent don’t have access to clean water? Hurricane Maria devastated the island of Puerto Rico in late September. The students, faculty and staff of Kanab High School want to help.
We’ve started a new fundraising tradition at KHS called “Cowboys Care.” This year, the money we raise will go to Light Up Puerto Rico and Water for Life to help provide valuable solar lights and power, as well as life-saving water filters for the people in need. You can learn more about these programs and their goals at bewaterforlife.org or by googling Light Up Puerto Rico.
We are excited to announce Vivint Inc. has partnered with us to raise funds. They have generously offered to match the funds we collect up to $5000 so we can help twice as many people! We’re excited for this opportunity and the causes the money is going to.
If you would like to help us in our efforts, you can stop by the office at Kanab High to donate. You can also find us at the KHS home games collecting donations.
Please support us in our efforts to help Puerto Rico. We are Cowboys, and Cowboys Care!
