On Friday, October 13, 2017, the Kane County Drug Task Force began to wrap up a six-month drug distribution investigation in the Kanab area.

Gerald Ginn, age 71, of Kanab, was arrested on numerous charges, including multiple charges of distribution of a controlled substance, possession of controlled substances, multiple counts of possession of a firearm by a restricted person and possession of drug paraphernalia.

With the assistance of the Kanab City Police and Kane County Sheriff’s Office, the drug task force conducted a search warrant at Ginn’s home. The search yielded approximately 12 pounds of high-grade marijuana, hashish, concentrated THC oils, scales, a large sum of U.S. currency and about 60 firearms.
