Jo McFadden (l) was the week #3 winner of the SUN’s Pigskin Predictions football contest. For getting eight of 10 right, Jo received a $50 gift certificate to Zion Pharmacy from Kortney Stirland (r). Jo correctly picked Washington State’s upset of USC. She was one of only two players to get that one right!

I was right behind Jo with seven correct, along with Steve Hogseth, Rich Hinote, Kathy Chamberlain, Andrea Gilberg, O’Conner Dale, Trey Zurfluh and Neal Brown. I was proud of Neal for picking Utah State to beat his BYU Cougars. His brother Kelly wasn’t quite as smart. Most of those with seven right had picked Minnesota, USC and New England to win.

I hope Mike Davis stayed away from Mesquite again, as his six for 10 wouldn’t have won him much money.

Daniel, it looks like Andrea has taken the lead in the Gilberg family duel.

Only one person, Jerry Hermansen, picked Carolina to upset New England. Unfortunatly for Jerry, he picked several other upsets that didn’t come through, and he only ended up with five right.

April Riddle’s guess of 475 was closet to the tiebreaker total of 464, but ... she only had four correct. Sorry April, no booby prize. Donnie wasn’t too far behind you, with only six right himself.
