Hepworth and Cox named Miss Kane County Queen and Princess
The Kane County Fair traditionally started with the crowning of the Royalty of Kane County – the Princess and the Queen. Beautiful and talented girls entered the stage with charm, talents and personalities, as they addressed the theme, “Amazing Just The Way You Are.” The focus was to encourage every girl to express their own individuality in their performances, and in the way they presented themselves to the judges.
Amy Cox won the honors of Miss Kane County Princess, with a platform of “Self-esteem.” First attendant Bethany Nording and second attendant Caroline Giddings completed the princess royalty. Nording won the award for Most Photogenic, as well as the Community Involvement award. Florie Staples was voted Miss Congeniality.
The new title of Miss Kane County for 2017 went to Brynn Hepworth, who ran on the platform of “Arts Awareness in Schools.” The first attendant was Madison Brooks, and second attendant was April Girdenis. The lovely girls who competed were all very beautiful. Their grace and talents once again brought to life the traditional Princess/Queen pageant, which has been enjoyed for many years.
A special thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the 2017 Kane County Queen Pageant a memorable occasion for each of the lovely girls who brought grace and beauty to the evening.
