While it has been a long road for the Kanab skate park organizers, and those working on the K-Town Plaza, it seems the final push for fundraising is paying off!

The report from central figure Cheryl Brown indicates the 4th of July was a good weekend for their cause.

We made $1000 on the 4th!” said Brown. “With the $1000 donation from the Southern Utah News, $2000 from the KHS marketing class, $5000 from Garkane, and other miscellaneous donations, we can mark off $10,000 on the fundraising thermometer!”

We encourage everyone to open up their wallets and give to this worthy cause! The southern Utah/northern Arizona residents, as well as our visitors, are worth it.
