What will Kanab's next act be?
There are very few change-agents on the planet who have motivated more people in more places than Roger Brooks has in the community development and travel industry. Over the past 30 years Brooks has helped thousands of people transform ordinary places, businesses and attractions into absolutely great places to live and incredibly successful destinations. He is coming to Kanab Tuesday, June 30, to help do the same here.
The community at large, and all businesses, are invited to see and hear Brooks’ presentation at the Kanab Middle School with a light buffet lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m. and Roger’s presentation from 12 to 1:15 p.m. The lunch and presentation are free. The Utah Office of Tourism, Kanab Area Chamber of Commerce and Kane County Economic Development are making this presentation possible.
Those who would like to take advantage of this rare opportunity need to RSVP at Kanab2020.com. Space will be limited to the first 100 who sign up.
Brooks began his career in the concert industry providing tour management services for recording artists such as The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, and others, culminating with the famous Saturday Night Fever Tour with the Bee Gees.
His next act was to spend 10 years assisting in the development and marketing of acclaimed resorts, including Whistler Resort in British Columbia; Harbour Town on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; Sunriver Resort in Central Oregon; and several others.
Brooks has since worked with nearly a thousand communities, as well as many states, national parks and countries, in their product development and branding efforts. He is the go-to expert for anyone with ties to the travel industry or downtown development where most spending takes place.
