Mt. Carmel Subway under new ownership
The Mt. Carmel Subway is located adjacent to the White Mountain Trading Post at the junction of Highway 9 and 89 on your way to Bryce Canyon or Zion National Park. The new owners are David and Cherrie Tebbs from the Bryce Canyon area.
David grew up in Panguitch, while his wife Cherrie grew up in Bryce Valley. David and Cherrie were high school sweethearts. David served an LDS mission to the Mexico Merida Mission. While David was serving his mission, Cherrie pursued a license in cosmetology, and graduated from Evan’s Hairstyling College in Orem. David and Cherrie were married in the St. George LDS Temple November 1992. They moved to Provo that January where David attended BYU.
David and Cherrie had an opportunity to move home to Bryce Canyon City in 1994, so David commuted to SUU to finish a degree in Finance. They are the parents of eight children, four boys and four girls, Alexis, Chandlyr, Daxtyn, Tyerah, Trayten, Quayden, Paisley and Cashae.
David and Cherrie are excited to own a Subway in such a great location. They are excited to serve the people of Kane County, and the many tourists that pass through the area. The key to their success will be working with the great people from the surrounding communities.
The Tebbs are looking for hard-working, dedicated individuals to join their team. They want people to know that they offer flexible scheduling and competitive wages. The new owners are willing to hire high school students and work around their busy schedules. David and Cherrie are looking for a high school graduate to work as a closer/evening manager. David and Cherrie’s family will be at the Subway on Saturday, May 23, and on this day only, they will be offering a one-time special for all Kane County residents. The special will be buy one footlong sub and get the second sandwich free. If you can’t make it this Saturday, do not forget to ask for the local discount on any other day!
