SBSU Long Valley branch manager Reese to retire
John Reese, Long Valley Branch Manager for State Bank of Southern Utah, will retire on Friday, January 2, 2014. The bank is inviting the community to come celebrate with John on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Long Valley office. Refreshments will be served.
“John has provided 28 years of faithful, loyal service to the community and the bank,” said former Long Valley Branch Manager and Executive Vice President DeLynn Barton.
Reese is actively involved in the Kane County Livestock Show, the Lions Club, and the Mount Carmel Irrigation Company. He continues to raise prize-winning purebred Angus cattle.
State Bank of Southern Utah continues the remodeling work at the Long Valley Office. With the exterior improvements almost complete, work will now focus on the interior. The branch will receive new carpet, tile, cabinets and an upgraded teller line. The remodel will also include a new restroom on the main floor and an enclosed office for additional customer privacy.
Eric Schmutz, President of State Bank of Southern Utah, is pleased to announce the hiring of Steve Barton as the new Branch Manager of the Long Valley Branch. Steve has strong family roots in the Long Valley area. More information on Steve will follow in the future.
