On Friday, November 14, KanabClass will host its second annual community potluck party at the Kanab City Library, starting at 6 p.m., with returning special guest speaker, photographer Barry Glazier. A slideshow, beginning at 7 p.m., will feature Glazier’s new work, accompanied by the fascinating stories of how he captures his striking images.

One new element of this year’s program will be the option of bringing a small donation of non-perishable foods to benefit the Kane County Care and Share Program.

What could be a better kick-off to a festive holiday season than getting together with the community, sharing good food and conversation and enjoying the fine work of a talented artist and friend? Last year, 150 people attended this event and many are already looking forward to doing it again!

Please join us, and if possible, bring something to share at the potluck. Remember, if you are not a cook, you can always contribute by bringing plates, napkins, plastic utensils, beverages, ice, etc.

We can also use volunteers for set-up and clean-up. For more information, simply e-mail or call Marlene Barnes info@kanabclass.com or 443-631-5382 to volunteer or to ask what might be needed.

There is a small preview of Glazier’s photographs at http://www.kanabclass.com" onclick="dpSmartLink(this.href,'blankWin',0,0,'z:z','all');return document.MM_returnValue">www.kanabclass.com and an easy contact form you can use for questions or suggestions. If you want to donate a food item to Care and Share, there will be labeled boxes to receive your items. Pet foods are also accepted!

KanabClass is proud to present this special event, which will surely be of interest to everyone – not just photographers! Everyone is invited to please join us! For more information or to sign up in advance, visit: http://www.kanabclass.com.
