Summer is gone and teachers and students are back in school again.  Recently Kane School District held their annual Opening Institute to welcome back teachers, recognize faculty, and provide in-service for the upcoming year. This year we recognized two retiring faculty, Sandy Tilton who taught at Kanab Elementary School and Carolleen Chamberlain, a teacher at Valley Elementary.  We appreciate the work they did for the students of Kane County and wish them the best in the years to come.

We also had the privilege of recognizing two faculty members who have been teaching for 35 years in Kane County Schools. Judy Lee of Kanab Elementary and Ferrill Heaton at Valley High.  We appreciate all of our faculty and staff for the years they have provided to the education of students in Kane County School District.

We also appreciate the support of the community and parents in helping the District fulfill its mission of “Providing Excellent Instruction to Students, thereby Empowering Immeasurable Opportunity.”
