Free Skin Cancer and Blood Pressure Screenings
On Monday, August 4, Dr. B Grant Bishop of the Skin Institute in St. George and Nursing Assistant students from the Southwest Applied Technology College will offer free skin cancer and blood pressure screenings at the Southwest Applied Technology College from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Dr. B. Grant Bishop is a well-known dermatologist with over 40 years of experience. He is semi-retired and spends most of his time volunteering time for cancer screenings and teaching medical students.
Some simple insurance covered procedures will also be offered including mole removal, skin tag removal, superficial skin cancer removal and biopsies.
Walk-ins are welcome on a first come, first serve basis, appointments are preferred. To schedule an appointment, call the Southwest Applied Technology College at 435-899-1860 or visit the campus at 733 S. Cowboy Way, across from Kanab Middle School.
