Inviting women of all ages and faiths to mark their calendars and join the Women’s Forum in Kanab for a truly inspiring opportunity to attend the keynote address of Stephanie Nielson (also popularly recognized through her highly popular blog, “nieniedialogues.com” as “Nie-nie”) with her husband Christian!

In 2008, Nielson and husband Christian were involved in a serious plane accident that claimed the life of their dear friend and pilot. Stephanie and Christian miraculously survived life-threatening burns covering arms, legs, face and hands. Although reconstructive surgery is an ongoing requirement for Stephanie, she maintains a joyful attitude for life as it was meant to be and living the roles she loves to live. Stephanie reminds us what true beauty really is.

Stephanie and Christian have been guests on the “Oprah Winfrey Show,” “The Today Show with Matt Lauer,” “The Glenn Beck Program,” “Anderson Cooper,” and many others. In these interviews, Stephanie explains why she believes she beat the odds in perilous times, and what life is like with her new appearance and physical limitations. Stephanie Nielson also holds a New York Times bestseller memoir, “Heaven Is Here.”

Stephanie’s popular blog, nieniedialougues.com, was begun in 2005 when they moved their young family to New Jersey for Christian’s work. Originally, the blog was simply a way to keep their family in the west informed about their life in the east. But it caught on, and her blog steadily grew in popularity and readership all over the world.

Today, four million people follow her blog. Her writing is a natural portrayal of life as a wife, mother, Mormon, daughter, sister, citizen, etc. They are filled with pictures and images that represent the common joys she has in the roles of her life. The Neilsons currently reside in Provo, Utah, and are the parents of five children.

The Women’s Forum wishes to give special recognition and thanks to Kanab Zions Bank Branch Manger Joe Houston for providing a sponsorship to help us bring Stephanie and Christian Nielson to Kanab.

Mark your calendars and don’t miss this opportunity on Saturday, March 15, 2014, as part of the Women’s Forum in Kanab. For more information, visit our new website: www.womensforuminkanab.com.
