The Glendale Apple Festival is just around the corner! The 15th Annual Glendale Apple Festival will be held on Friday and Saturday, October 11 and 12 in Glendale, Utah on Highway 89.

The Apple Festival celebrates the production, harvest, and sale of apple products, handicrafts, and games, and culminates with a large community banquet dinner at the town park. Glendale is a quaint, historic town, with a vibrant farming community. The Apple Festival is an opportunity to showcase and share the rich heritage of Long Valley.

The festival kicks off Friday afternoon with our Apple Grapple Fun Run. What is an Apple Grapple? An apple-themed obstacle course at its toughest!  Apple Grapple is the first ever of its kind, designed by the toughest Glendalians! If you’ve tried trail runs, tough mudder, Warrior dash, it’s time to step up to a brutal Apple Grapple! You can tackle an apple bob, plunge into the muddy apple pit, maybe even attempt a wormy apple throw, but only a few of you will have the heart to graduate up to our apple military course, an endurance race like no other.

Are you unbreakable? Our goal is simple ... to get you off the couch, throw you in the mud and apples, and feed you one tough endurance event that will be the adrenaline rush of the season! Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 11, at the Glendale Baseball Field, $3 registration fee. Call/text Betty (435) 691-0579 with any questions.

Friday evening there will be a concert at 7 p.m. at the Kane County North Events Center next to the Carroll Arena in Orderville. The music of Mark Abernathy is a sound filtered through all manner of musical Americana – gospel, blues, Appalachian folk, traditional country, early rock’n’roll and even religious standards of the early 19th century. These sounds come alive with a timeless energy that reflects inspiration garnered from the fervor and zeal, but also despair of the people who struggled through the growing pains of a new nation.
