Three individuals with local ties were arrested in Kansas on June 2, for alleged possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, conspiracy to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and no drug tax stamp.

Justin Wendling, 21, Adina Jones, 23, and Alvery (Ray) Miner, 26, were in a Suzuki passenger car traveling on Interstate 70 and pulled over by law enforcement on a routine traffic stop in Geary County Kansas.

The suspects gave consent to search the vehicle, after authorities detected the odor of marijuana. 200 pounds of marijuana in large black duffle bags were discovered in the trunk of the car. Local law enforcement stated it was the largest drug bust this year.
