Julie Ingersoll retires after 35 years
Julie Ingersoll has been an agent for the Utah State University Extension Service in Kane County since 1978. A retirement party in her honor was held on April 3, 2013.
In appreciation of her years of service, Dave Owens, the president of the Employees Association, presented Julie the Kane County Service Award.
The citizens and employees of Kane County have benefited from Julie’s efforts on their behalf through the USU Extension Service Office, by her participation on committees and boards such as the Woman’s Forum, the County Fair, the 4-H Program and many more community activities.
Throughout her career, Julie has taught a variety of different classes in our rural community. Julie may be retiring from the USU, but she will continue teaching Family Consumer Living Science at Valley High.
Kane County employees will miss her cheerful smile and ever-positive attitude.
