Most Fredonians know the Public Works building as the old leaky eye sore on Juniper.  The building, has been decaying for years and passed its useful life some time ago.  The roof leaks and air whips through; its energy efficiency level has dipped well below zero.

With the new year however, comes a new beginning, which means a make over for the old shop.  After searching the budget and discovering a substantial savings in salaries compared to last year, Public Works Director Ken Bistline was able to find the funds to re-skin the building.  By utilizing town employees to perform the work, the project would be most cost effective.

The Fredonia Public Works Department has been working diligently to complete the re-skin project.  The building is almost unrecognizable as it transforms from the antiquated eye sore to a building Fredonia can be proud of.
