SpaceCase at the Crescent Moon Theater
The year is 2112, and the U.S. has expanded its horizons to the United Space Islands located in, you guessed it, outer space. The evil Dr. Dismal is plotting to blow up the universe and Sergeant Wyatt and his not-so-faithful sidekick robot, Erp, must find a way to stop him… with a little help from some inter-planetary friends.
The Goodtime Community Theater brings their latest production to the Crescent Moon Theater on Friday and Saturday evening, January 20 and 21. SpaceCase: A Musical Mystery Gone to the Stars is a zany romp into places beyond Star Trek where no man would even want to go before.
The play is written by Bobbi Chaney and stars Darlene Anderson, Terry Parthemore, Lenny and Brenda Domyan, Sue Fox, Jo Quinby, Marcia Martin, Tom Carter, Sky Chaney, Gengi and a whole crew of “Tribbles.”
Music by Tumbleweedz starts at 6:30 p.m. Showtime is 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the Kanab Library, the Moon Saloon (next to the theater), from the cast or at the door. Get your tickets in advance in case the show sells out. Suggested donation is $10. This is a benefit performance for Friends of the Kanab Library.
